About ConvertMathly
ConvertMathly is a free collection of more than 253 online tools for converting and editing video, audio, images, PDFs, documents, e-books, spreadsheets and archives. It is part of the Mathly family of free web tools.
Our approach: your files stay with you
Traditional online converters upload your files to a server, process them there and send them back. That is slow, it exposes private documents to a third party, and it costs money — which is why those services impose size limits, queues and subscriptions.
ConvertMathly works differently. Every tool runs inside your web browser using modern web technology — JavaScript and WebAssembly. We use well-known open-source engines such as FFmpeg (video and audio), PDF.js and pdf-lib (PDF), libarchive (ZIP, RAR, 7Z), SheetJS (spreadsheets) and Mammoth (Word documents). Because the work happens on your own device, your files are never uploaded and there is no reason to limit how much you convert.
